About me:
I am entering my 10th year of teaching in Gilbert Public Schools. I am an Arizona State University alumnus and have a BA in Psychology in addition to my teaching certification. I am also a published columnist and the author of Domestically Challenged, which was released in May 2005.
My Teaching Philosophy:
I don’t think there is anything more important than your child learning effective reading and writing skills. Be prepared – we do a lot of both!
Class overview:
This is a vigorous class. Students are expected to keep up with their homework and be prepared to learn on a daily basis.
Students will also be expected to read nightly Monday – Thursday. They will have a Daily Reading Log to fill out on a nightly basis.
Assignments are always clearly posted on the board. All assignments are also recorded on my classroom blog at www.MrsMorales.com.
